Bio

Luke Schwalbach is a professional trumpeter based in New Jersey, with a deep passion for making music across classical, sacred, and commercial genres. He brings artistry, precision, and a commitment to excellence in every performance, whether on stage or in the studio.

Luke earned his Bachelor of Music in Trumpet Performance from the Lynn University Conservatory of Music in Boca Raton, Florida (2015–2019). During his undergraduate studies, he also pursued advanced training at the Frankfurt University for Music and Performing Arts, Germany (2017–2018). He later completed his Master of Music at the Mason Gross School of the Arts at Rutgers University (2019–2021), where he studied under Kenny DeCarlo.

Throughout his career, Luke has freelanced regularly in the New York City area, performing with ensembles such as the Palm Beach Symphony Orchestra and the American Symphony under Leon Botstein. He has also played at notable venues including The Chautauqua Institute, Rathaus der Stadt Frankfurt, hr-Sendesaal, and The Fisher Center, establishing himself as a versatile and highly skilled performer.

In addition to his performance career, Luke offers private trumpet lessons, helping students of all skill levels develop their technique, musicality, and appreciation for the trumpet. Luke also teaches Musicology at the Pennington School, NJ. His educational background and extensive experience in both live performances and teaching provide him with the tools to guide and inspire.

Currently, Luke remains active as a freelancer in the New York City, New Jersey, and Philadelphia areas. Whether for performances, ceremonies, or private lessons, he is committed to delivering music with clarity, depth, and passion.
